actually i couldn't believe it when i went into the doctor's office, i did not see anything about mirena anywhere. it was a new doctor too me. when she came in i asked her if they used mirena and she said no way. she used too but she spent more time taking mirena out than she did inserting them. she said too many women had problems and she didnt like that her patients were having so many problems. WOW! a doctor that put her patient's needs above the kickbacks she would receive for inserting mirena in unsuspecting women. i didnt think there were doctors like that anymore.
i did not have a pregnancy test done because my husband had a vasectomy six months ago. but back in october when i went the first time to get it removed, i thought 100% that i was pregnant. no one could have convinced me otherwise. i had the same symptoms as i had with all of my pregnancies.
as far as removal, the doctor found the short strings and pulled it out. it didnt even feel it. please keep posting. my husband has not supported me hardly at all. he says i have used mirena as a crutch. i dont have many friends. this forum literally saved my life, literally.
