No, it's not nasty at all, actually. And I have a VERY strong gag reflex.
Somebody on here gave me a recipe that I've been following and I'm up to 3 drinks a day now. I love the stuff and now I just eyeball the amounts and don't measure the liquid anymore. Interestingly, it takes away a little of my appetite and I'm thinking I could diet on this stuff and eat less.
1 cup water
1/2 cup juice (I use OJ)
2 T
Bentonite clay (shake it well before pouring)
1 teaspoon psyllium powder
You need to make it, shake it, and drink it down quickly because if it sits too long, it starts to gel and is a little like drinking jello half-formed (don't ask me how I know that). It tastes like watered-down OJ. I put a little ice in it, too - I like it cold.
The person who suggested the recipe also suggested adding Chlorophyll to eliminate gassing and bloating, but I tried it and didn't notice much of a difference except very green poo. I don't experience a lot of gas and bloating when I drink it, but perhaps other people do.
