The avatar photo is of my neck 5 years ago. There use to be a wart where the sore is. For years it periodically felt like an ice pick was stabbing me in the neck. I thought it was the wart putting down a root. And then it started itching like crazy. A dermatologist told me it was a keeper. Then I got a crick in my neck and lower back. Then my spine froze up. I couldn't turn my head. The crick lasted for 4 months. Chiropractors couldn't help me. Then my shoulders got stiff and I couldn't lift my arms to pull a t-shirt over my head. I had to wear button up shirts. Then I started wheezing and coughing almost constantly. Then my skin turned yellow, my stomach swelled up, my liver was tender, I lost my appetite, everything was making me sick. I knew I was dying. I thought I had malignant melanoma that had metastasized to my lungs and liver.
Mom gave me some black salve and said it was supposed to get rid of cancerous moles and viral warts. She said she was afraid to try it. Wise woman. I read black salve doesn't react unless there is cancer or virus present. So I dabbed some on my thigh, where there was no wart, and nothing happened. Then I dabbed it on my warts and they started stinging. So I dosed them all real good and put a bandaid on them. I wanted to get rid of all of them at once. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I do NOT recommend this. If I had it to do over, I'd take bloodroot internally.
None the less, the pain in my neck ceased completely, almost immediately upon application of the black salve. I mean within seconds the pain in my neck was gone, vanished, and it has not returned. It took four months for all the sores on my body to heal. But it wasn't long before the skin around the scar on my neck began to itch again, so I decided to take bloodroot internally. I took it almost continuously for four years, until I found out about Lugols. Now I don't need it.
I turned my health around with herbs, accupuncture and Lugols. I never went to a regular doctor. I found out I had hepatitis by applying for life insurance. An insurance company gave me a free blood test and turned me down, citing elevated liver enzymes due to hepatitis c.
I started researching Hep C, learned that it weakens the immune system, making you a vulnerable host to parasitic infections. I started reading the symptoms of
parasites and figured that is what was making me wheeze. I definitely suffered from pinworms off and on for years. That is how I ended up here.
