My whole family has been on this diet for about a year now.
We don't follow it very strictly now but I can see a big improvement in energy level. It was my main complaint.
We started slowly, changing one thing a time. First we got off the pork. It was a big deal. Than came the bread and flour. I had to learn to cook using different kinds of flour ( my husband cannot eat wheat - type O ). Than gradually I eliminated things we couldn't eat and added the good ones. I am the main cook in the family.
I think that there is something in the book about adjusting your body slowly to a new diet if you were a vegan. I don't remember exactly but it had something to do with digesting meat.
