You have misinterpreted my intent, and in the
context of the post, I was referring to the
already existing military. Anyone who has read
enough of my posts knows that I am pro-human
rights and so when I say that the contamination
will be spread around the globe, I include that
that all of us will be effected and this whole
concept is unacceptable to me. We do not have
the right under any circumstances to pollute
the planet and condemn generations to die for
our global agendas. Certainly, the horrors which
have happened even before this current war,
the first Gulf war, have been outrages in my
personal book. I do not understand how we can
even impose sanctions and allow whole countries
to suffer for the decisions their leaders make.
I could rage for a long time about how America
has condoned and supported and oft times promoted
political agendas in countries which have been
involved in genocide and worse. If you have
read enough of my postings, you would know how
much I deplore the use of depleted uranium.
If the truth be told, I believe that in the 9-11
attack, nuclear weapons were used against our
own people. No one is immune from the cabals
which seek to subjugate all nations into three
different regions under the control of a few.
All that being said, I do support our military.
I do not always support their behavior and do
not agree with what they are asked to do. I am
shamed by many of the actions, like Abu Grab and
Guantanamo and many of the other ways they have
violated the Geneva Conventions and the way they
have abused the Iraqi people. But, they are our
men and women, sons and daughters, and husbands
and wives. Another consideration is that our
general public has not been involved in what has
been happening in a way I wish we were. Certainly
not like we were in the first Gulf War or the
Vietnam War. Trust me, you probably know more
about the war than the average American.
Those of us who know anything learn about it online.
If you just read the newspapers or listened to
television, the war is a faint sound byte and
most often just that because Bush is demanding
more money. Our government has even killed our
own journalists who have tried to get the news
out. There is much wrong with what is happening
and I probably would say more but we also have
had our freedom of speech assaulted and so it is
not only politically dangerous to criticize the
relationships between certain countries who are
also involved in agendas to keep these wars going
and who played major roles in using Bush and his
administration to fight for them, but we are
also punished if we actively protest the war,
unlike any previous generation who claimed that
right and used it.
Anyway, perhaps this will help you understand
my context of the original post and if not, it
is okay. I do not profess to be other than a
patriotic American and fellow human. I support
Universal Human Rights~~peace & global justice...
