I agree with you Nancy regarding our pancreatitis. Now that I have some knowledge of where the ducts are in reference to each other, how the gallbladder and pancreas functions I feel sure how I got pancreatitis. I also believe that my being constipated for the length of time before was a factor also.
Thanks for reminding me to take the
Epsom Salts . I just fixed a glass of water with ACV with a little lemon and I can add a pinch of
Epsom Salts to it. I have read of another poster, possibly hanna, who has suggested putting a pinch of
Epsom Salts in your water. Or I can just put some in a small amount of water and drink it quickly!
I still have my gallbladder and will fight to keep it! I had a HIDA scan done a few months ago and my gallbladder is functioning at 38%. My doctor said that it was normal; 35% or lower being the number where it is suggested to have removal. One of my goals is to get my gallbladder functions higher.
My little mama had her gallbladder removed nearly four years ago despite what I told her she could do to keep it (and I didn't know about curezone at the time, nor did I know as much as I do now, which is very little compared to some). She is from the old school where one thinks your doctor is always right. I didn't attend the same school! She recovered well from her surgery but developed diabetics some time after. She has diarrhea every morning, which I've read happens after gallbladder removal.
Thanks again, I'm off to take some epsom salts, wish that I'd thought of that yesterday evening...
