Yes, yes, yes.  Unfortunately I believe it already has come to the point that what  you believe in your heart and the closeness you have to the Lord is what maters, but no one can expect to properly flourish in the faith if they are hoping to get it from most churches, and especially NOT megachurches.   Never the less, we are still  exhorted to fellowship with other believers, but that can constitute getting together with a friend or two and praying over your needs.  Biblically speaing, that's a church.   The rest is up to the individual in how much of the Word is in them and how much they are willing to follow it as a guideline instead of the misguided leaders of the day.

It is no surprise that you haven't heard about Dominion Theology.  It was years ago when I would hear Pat Robertson talk about it on TV, (back when I would still give him some time), but systematically they have stopped calling it thus as it simultaneously creeps in to mainstream theology at an exponential rate.   I believe there are many people who are following some strain of this doctrine or another and don't even know it.

The reason it is important to know what all these movements are is so that we can adequuately trace them to their roots and try to avoid their accompanying deception.  As I know you know, the most effective of all lies are the ones accompanied by a good measure of truth.  In this case the truth acts like DMSO;  a substance that allows larger, impenetrable molecules in smaller ratio, but more potent than the DMSO, to enter the body where it will do its job.  There are many doctrines out there that begin with a perfectly Biblical premise, but insidiously carry a heresy which will pass undetected.   Amongst these are the excersicing of the gifts of healing, prophecy, etc., coupled with the excesses in the "prosperity gospel" and tons of occultic, new age teaching.   Then there is the observance of the Biblical festivals (which all contain gems of symbolism into the person of Christ) and the Sabbath, and the excesses of the cultural Judaizing and political Zionism which you find in much of the Messianic movement.   The theory of the rapture (including all 3 or 4 schools of thought) , and Dominion Theology, which seeks to conquer the whole world crusade style in order to usher in the return of the Lord.

Oh, and by the way, there are just as many more Dominionists who don't believe in the rapture as there are those who do.   So you see that it is not the rapture theory in and of itself that causes the harm, but the sinister spirit which precludes it, in this case the Dominionists.  Here's a quote from a link that I've posted below:  " They are not looking for Christ to return and set up His Kingdom; they are attempting to set it up for Him; " - - - - -yep, the new Inquisition!

Astute Bereans have been keeping an eye on Robertson for years.  I know there's even been some question as to whether he actually is a 32º or 33º Mason.  I know there's no question about it with regards to Billy Graham, the darling of the evangelical world and apostate supreme.

It's all designed to bring confusion, discouragement and who knows what else that the social engineers of the masses see fit to infringe upon the population.
