I am posting this in the news forum, because it is wide read and to me it is big news. So here is the Breaking News......
On my way home from the nursing home this morning I noticed two six week old Rottweiler mix puppies in the middle of the road in the middle of nowhere. They don't belong to anyone around here, so obviously they were dropped off. So, of course, I have them. At this point, if I keep them I might as well officially open up my own dog rescue. This will make six rescued dogs. They are precious.
If anyone in the Northern Mississippi area would like one or two adorable puppies, please email me. A boy and girl.
Hugs,
Luella
Hi Raynbo,
They are adorable, and tiny, about half the size of my arm from wrist to elbow. I took this picture today. I'll take more as they grow. I've named them Jack and Jill.
Hugs,
Luella
You are sweet Chris.
I cannot imagine anybody leaving these puppies to certain death. If they had been to the side in the vegetation I would never have seen them. And in the middle of the road, they could have very easily been hit. What were the chances that I would come along?
Hugs,
Luella
Bless your heart Alisa. Thank you for sharing this most heartwarming story. Thank you also for giving me God's perspective in my finding the two puppies.
Thank goodness that they are in good health. I really think they had just been dropped off, although I had to detick poor little Jack. I think the ticks were bigger than he was.
I so wish that we lived in a different world, a world full of love not only for our fellow man but for every living creature.
Lots of Hugs,
Luella
And I thank you for caring also Sunny. Bless you. I also live in the country, thank goodness. I now have six dogs and two cats. This was the weekend for new animals. I had just told a resident in a nursing home that I would take care of her cat until she got better and on the way home I found the puppies. LOL
The cat's name is Precious. This is another story. This is her fourth day with me and is not in the least happy. She is an older cat and has been with her previous owner for ten years. So this poor cat's life has been severly disrupted.
Hugs,
Luella
