Wow, you have quite the story. Congratulations on losing all the weight, but most importantly, on changing your life style and taking control of your life.
I think you are absolutely right to do the
Master-Cleanse for a cleanse and not for weight loss. I think it will come in handy after all the work you have been though.
My last cleanse was short, only 7 days. But it was enough for me to know I will be doing this for the rest of my life. No one can talk me out of it (and granted, there has peen plenty of bad press on fasting and the
Master-Cleanse recently, all from Big Pharma sponsored media and "doctors", have you noticed? Most of this people would be out of jobs if everybody found out what we know. Also, they always make it sound like it's a diet, which is a lie).
I have always had somewhat of healthy diet, except for a period in college where I lived off junk food and a lot of other stuff I'm not exactly proud of. I eat everything, and my rule is: if it doesn't come from a tree or a plant, I can only have a quarter plate of it (a sensible plate, not US portions, they are huge). So, this limits my intake of animal products, pasta, sweets, deep fried stuff, processed food, etc. My problem was a tendency to drugs (mostly alcohol), and the
Master-Cleanse is great to get those cravings out.
Tomorrow will be day 21: my last day. It's been a cool ride. During the past few days I have been feeling this lightness I can't explain, this sort of presence, focus. I wish I could live like this forever! Everything is much more clear.
I have made the commitment to cut all processed and meat products from my diet until next year as an experiment. I want to see how that will make me feel. This will include my beloved beer, but what I have experienced during the last few weeks has showed me that it will be great! I'm also enjoying going to bed early and getting up early as well as running in the park. This is how I want to live. I'm tired of swapping day with night.
I don't know about mixing molasses (yes, blackstrap is the one) and MS, but I imagine it's ok. Does anyone else know?
Good luck bud!
