Just take one or two after a protein meal.
Bromelain is a great digestive enzyme and
is particularly helpful when you have work
to do after a meal and so having help to
digest the meat saves energy for you.

I saw a Nova special once a long time ago
where they had two bowls of stew. One they
did nothing with, but the other, they put
in the enzymes. Then they waited, I forget
how long. The bowl with the enzymes was
reduced to a smooth soupy porridge sort of
mixture while of course the control bowl
was still sitting.
Another good after meal supplement is some
papaya enzymes.
