Date: 9/16/2007 1:18:03 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1756 times I'm at work now, and I'm bored out of my skull. There's only three kids here, and the weekends is their down time, so I can't even get them all riled up and wrestle and play like I usually do. Everyone is very very quiet, and I'm just not sure what to do. I've been on the computer most of the day, investigating a few kitchen appliances I'd like to get. I really shouldn't get any more, I have more than enough and not too much space. I think I'll get rid of my crockpot that is huge, and replace it with a really nice rice steamer. I'm gonna go all top of the line, since I have a tendency to buy cheap appliances that break, or don't get used. I found a really nice one for $150, that has a timer, different rice settings, and everything. Its alot of money, but rice is my favorite food group, so it will get used alot. I want to get a bread machine too, but that isn't really necessary. I love rice though, and it would eat it all day everyday. Especially steamed rice.
My crockpot is fine, its just way too big, and they're one of the only appliances you can spend very little on and get something decent. I have all kinds of plans about going home and organizing my kitchen, doing some laundry, and getting stuff cleaned. It needs to be done, hasn't been done in awhile. My boy does most of the little day to day cleaning, besides cooking and the dishes, and I go to town occasionally and do all the big cleaning. I really need to clean my carpets too, but I don't want to over do it. I was really tired this morning, but feeling better. I've been downing liquids all day, so maybe my problem wasn't getting enough water? I know I need to drink more, but its started to get chilly here and all I've wanted is something warm. So I've been doing a lot of hot lemon water, sometimes with cayenne, sometimes without, about 30 oz of water, 20 oz juice, and another 20 oz of the MC drink. I'm starting to feel kinda energetic, which is good.
