Day One Through Three
day 1 -3 experience on master cleanse

I've been going through some depression, and I'm getting married, and I have been having problems with my ability to focus. I'm hoping this will get me back to center and give me some better perspective on myself and why I tend to emotionally overeat.
Day 1- Not hard really. I like the lemonade a lot. I've read other people's blogs and they're so focused on their BMs. I would always laugh, but suddenly I became very aware of my inability to go to the toidy. Number 1 yes. Number 2...that didn't come until DAY THREE! Not really hungry. I was waiting for the impending headache which didn't come on day 1. I've been a heavy caffeine addict since college. I knew that would be the toughest part. But day 1 was pretty easy. I did, of course, have a moment or two of a "PIZZA" craving. Or hummus. Or tomato soup. But they were brief. I took a weak lax tea, went to bed and slept like a baby.
Day 2 - Woke up early, but went RIGHT back to sleep when the caffeine headache slammed me. Thank god I didn't have to be anywhere. Day 2 was the worst. You're supposed to do the caffeine withdrawal before the cleanse but I say just get the worst over all at once. And if you can - sleep through it. I woke up a little later, did a salt water flush...no BM, though. This is where the BM obsession started. My guts were gurgling like crazy, but nothing moving through. I napped periodically through the day, and every time I woke up, the headache was a little better. In the afternoon, I went to a health and wellness store and bought a stronger senna tea. It's called the Dieter's Secret or something. But it's just a laxative. And it worked! That evening I took a bath in my new detox salts, put on a crazy Kelp mask (that made my skin feel AMAZING), topped it off with my super healing serum from IS clinical and went to bed.
Day 3 - 6:30 am I was up. I know I napped a lot yesterday, but wow. I'm usually a late sleeper. My skin feels great. Everyone told me that it gets bad after a couple days with the toxins leaving so I'll just keep doing the masks and serums to draw it out. First thing, I did my SWF and went to meditate. Instead I dozed. But I figure it's ok to be nice to yourself during this cleanse. Sleeping and healing are what you're trying to do, right? By the time I was done counting snores, the SWF had done it's job and I was on the toilet. It's like a shower for your insides! You're peeing through your bum! How strange. I'm not getting much out but "miso soup" as another blogger called it. I hope that means I'm doing well already. Had my first lemonade, can't believe how NOT hungry I am. The lemonades totally hit the spot. Strange that this morning I was really thirsty. I'm drinking SO MUCH WATER! I wonder if this is good for your kidneys...
My mother's a nurse and she's very concerned about me doing 10 days of this. She had a friend who got diabetes from a grapefruit fast. She's encouraging me to take a multi-vitamin and only go on it for three-five days. But everyone who does it for ten has great results so far as I can see... so I'm doing it. I'm NOT looking forward to the orange juice and veggie broth part after the fast. And I'm wondering about the liver flush at the end. Should I? Shouldn't I? I guess I have time to figure that out.
Now all I'm worried about is going out tonight and hoping my BMs are DONE before then! Be careful what you wish for!
