day 1
weight 141 lbs
my first day with no lemonade. i feel great. the OJ tastes like heaven. a little too sweet so i watered it down. i don't feel hungry and may do the "OJ only" for three days. I'm working every day so it'll be a lot easier to start with the veggie soup on my day off. i have loads of energy today and started a clean-up project that's been bugging me for months. later i'll start reading one of those raw food livestyle books and that would be it for my first day. i have some backpain but i'm sure that's because i never get more than 5 or 6 hrs of sleep on the days i work. at least i don't have to do the swf any longer, that should give me an extra hour per night. anyhow total weight loss was 18 lbs in 21 days. I still have to lose 13 lbs to reach my goal but i feel so optimistic. After 21 days on the MC everything is possible.

day 2

i feel pretty good even though i had another sleepless night. i slept from 6pm until 9pm and then my son's loud voice woke me up and i couldn't go back to sleep. i made it through the day allright though. i have a consistent upper back pain that i didn't used to have before. in a couple of days i'm off work for 2 days and hopefully be able to sleep my 8 hrs -- i'm thinking that'll take care of the backpain. i can't imagine that instead of getting rid of problems on the MC i added one.
food:
25 oz fresh squeezed OJ mixed with water

1 cup of blueberries
1/2 of a dwarf watermelon

140 pounds
I think i really like this raw thing. so far i've not strayed but i know i will have to because when i go to austria they won't be able to accomodate me everywhere. plus i'm so looking forward to eating germ knoedel. I had planned on eating nothing but germ knoedel but now it'll just be 5 or 6 times during my 17 day trip. I found a recipe in a raw book for flax/sunflower bread and it tastes wonderful. Usually i mess up every recipe i try but this turned out perfect. tomorrow i'll try a few more recipes.

I have consistently lost 1/2 lb per day since i finished the MC. I eat around 1000 kcal or a little more per day but so far it's been just fruits, freshly squeezed OJ and homemade seedbread. And I have not had a BM for 3+ days ever since I finished the MC. Today I will have a salad and maybe even some soup.
later that day: i had a double shot of wheatgrass juice and since I hadn't eaten regular food in almost a month i felt a little nauseous and so i had to eat some hazelnuts. nothing else was available since i was driving.

i think i'm back on track with my regular diet. I mean completely done with the afterecffects of the MC. I cannot believe that I didn't regain any of the weight and instead lost another pound and a half. Of course I'm not eating much and everything is very healthy and sofar raw, but still I almost tripled my calorie intake. Boy I love the MC. This is how it should be used as a weight loss tool. Use it to get on the right track and then start your diet. It is so much easier, because in the 21 days on the MC the body gets used to having limited calories and as long as I stay away from the SAD diet I think I can kind of control my hunger. Today I made raw pecan pie. Actually I put a pecan in a pitted date and that was one bite. It was so delicious that I had to have another one, but then i was done. Well if there had been a SAD pecan pie i would probably have eaten 2 slices. This way I had no guilt feelings even though i'm still 11.5 lbs away from my goal weight.

ok so i gained a pound. I did eat quite a bit more than i had planned yesterday but i think i needed that. the weight gain is due to starting my period today and i think that's also why i ate so much yesterday and today. my food intake for today is: (not in any particular order)
3 granny smith apples
1 orange
8 oz freshly squeezed OJ
8 oz Vanilla Milk
2 slices homemade Flaxseed Bread
4 cups of hot green bean soup (water, green beans, 1 soupcube in vitamix)
2 tbsp probiotics
1 slice flaxseed bread with sundried tomato hummus
6 hazelnuts, 6 brazil nuts

gained another 2 lbs, but it's not really a gain since i'm on my period. at least i hope not. it should be gone within the next two days or else this raw food diet isn't working for me.

that mango cobbler was the first thing on my mind upon awakening. so i finished it for breakfast. i had to get it out of my system and i have learned a valuable lesson. STAY AWAY FROM THE DESSERTS. I tried making a smaller dessert but i guess in order for the vitamix to work properly you have do use a certain minimum amount. anyhow what's done is done. it was delicious and so i can't complain about not having lost any more weight. Tomorrow i will do a liver flush and then next week i will start on Humaworm.
Food for today:
140 oz water
an embarrassing amount of mango cobbler (about 4 servings just to get rid of it and not have to fight with it the rest of the day)

Happy Birthday to myself. Today I am 44 years old and yesterday I couldn't stop eating. I gained 1.5 lbs. But that isn't even the worst. I feel lousy today on my birthday. My nose is running, my stomach is sticking out and I'm tired. Most of the stuff I ate was raw desserts -- at least I can say that I have ZERO desires to give up the raw food. The only non-raw food I had was hot soup (frozen veggies, water & soup cube boiled and processed in vitamix) and a few bites of Salmon. A couple of days ago I had made mango cobbler and I ate the whole thing yesterday in the morning. Then i had some of the syrup mixture left over (dates, coconut butter and water) and i didn't want to waste it so i mixed it with fresh
papaya and planned to put it in icecube trays and freeze it so I can send it through my champion juicer with the blank screen for a delicious icecream treat some time in the future. Well the mixture made it in the ice cube trays but never in the freezer. I ate it from the trays and then licked the trays. Well I really have to stay away from desserts, they are my downfall no matter what diet plan I am on. So today it's back to healthy green food. Even though it's my birthday I will do a livercleanse this afternoon and then a couple of days later start on humaworm. I'm even playing with the idea of going back on the master cleanse to lose the rest of my weight (now 15 more lbs) instead of humaworm, but I haven't decided yet.
