The Cure For Leukemia
Just ask your Doctor...
Date: 9/27/2007 5:42:24 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 4394 times If you have Leukemia, ask your doctor for the pill STI571 (Glivec) AKA: Gleevec. It is the same one that Ryan O'Neal took a while back that cured him. It was invented in Oregon quite a few years ago and has been on tv and has an extremely high cure rate. It is available at hundreds of hospitals across the U.S.
"It could be centuries, if ever, before we abandon the old treble line of attack against cancer we use today - surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy - with their terrible side effects and uneven results. But optimism is growing that within a generation or two, a cocktail of pills like Glivec, genetically matched to patients, will be the main, fourth weapon."
"If, two years earlier, a cancer researcher had said 'I'm going to develop a pill which is going to have no side effects and cure 99% of people it treats,' he would have been villified by the cancer research establishment. But essentially that's the description of what Gleevec does, and that's why everyone's so excited by it."
