Some Electrolytes and Their Charges
Charges of Various Electrolytes
Date: 5/21/2007 3:58:24 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 29834 times Here is a list of some electrolytes and their charges. the higher the number of the right, the better for zeta. If the number on the left is higher than the number on the right, that means its a positively charged electrolyte and bad for zeta potential.
The negatively charged electrolytes noted by the zeta research i have come across are these. (these boost zeta potential, which is a good thing)
1:2 Sodium Sulphate Na2SO4
1:2 Potassium Sulfate K2SO4
1:3 Potassium Citrate K3C6H5O7*H2O
1:4 Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate Na4P2
1:3 Sodium Citrate Na3C6H507 2H2O
Evenly charged electrolytes (neither good nor bad zeta affects)
1:1 Potassium Chloride KCL
1:1 Sodium Chloride NaCl
Positively charged electrolytes (lowering zeta potential, which is a bad thing)
2:1 Calcium Chloride CaCl2
3:1 Aluminum Sulfate AlC13
