I will restart the fast tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. Feeling guilty I dropped off from the fast so early. Generally, I do not like the bloated discomfort. My skin is dry and dull, but renewal is transpiring. There is mild inflammation located behind the knees,at the knee caps and at the ventral part of the feet. Come to think of it. Everything is not too bad at all, only that I can do much better--if I just put in the extra effort.

What distinguishes good from great is usually only a little extra.


I have been mugging my ass off the past few days and I am beginning to sense an increasingly erratic behaviour.
1. decreased concentration
2. increased fatigue
3. increased distractability
4. increased appetite--I ate bananas
I need to compose myself and complete my work steadily and slowly. I can't afford to lose my head when it is down to the wire.

What I have done that I should be happy about
1. Created a workable study plan that demands discipline, but can I streamline it further? How much do I really need to reread another 1000 times honestly?
2. An inclusion of 2 assessments that will mentally prepare me
3. I know my work and I should not feel afraid
4. I am 80% there, just need a 20% nudge in the right direction

What I absolutely should beware of:
1. My increasingly messy study table
2. My empty mindmaps
3. sleepiness--taking short 15 min naps may help tremendously compared to sustained low-level concentration
4. information binge--let the notes swirl in the head 2 times.
5.speed reading--mincing salient sections is wiser than rushing through everything

where I can improve:
1. arrange my table
2. be selective in my revision
3. read and assimilate information
4. take a 15 min nap once I hit a wall
5. jot down some notes on the mindmaps as last minute reminders
6. end off studies with an assessment test

Ok. that's the update. Just some silly notes to myself really.

A little side-step. Chatted with my boyfriend the evening before. He gave me moral support and made me laugh all through the conversation, an absolute mood lifter and motivating force. He is an absolute darling. Because of him, I want to get well and do well for exams so badly. "Study hard!", he always says when he ends each conversation.
