In the beginning...

Getting ready to start the cleanse in the new year.

I'm not going to start the Master Cleanse until 1/1/07. I already pre-made the "lemonade." I think it's quite tasty. I would have started it tonight, but I have a massive headache. I've had this headache since the day before Christmas. Nothing seems to be working. I'm off from work tomorrow, so I'll relax by going for a skate (weather permitting). I also have to pick up my number for my midnight race in the park.

So far it looks like I'll be starting 2007 on a positive note. I kick off the new year with a 4 mile run (my first race!) and a cleansing. My only real fear now with the cleanse is the lax tea. I'm terrified of laxatives. I used to abuse them as a teenager for weight loss. I don't want to get sick off the tea. I don't think I'm going to be able to drink the salt water. I hate salt. I always try to avoid salt.

I hope I can succeed, but even if I fail, at least I can honestly say I tried.
