Day 0-Introduction

Date: 10/13/2006 8:24:04 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2134 times Hey everyone! So tomorrow I'm am starting day 1 of my attempt to complete a 30 day water fast. If I get too weak then maybe I'll have some fresh veggetable juice. I'll be trying to exercise everyday with walking and toning exercises. So I'm doing this because I want to get my life back. In the last year, I got caught up in disordered eating habits and instead of losing weight I gained! I gained about maybe 20 pounds. I was devastated and got very depressed. But now that I have stopped compulsively and emotionally eating, it's been difficult for me to lose the weight.
I am about 5'4 and now I weight maybe 145 lbs. I used to be really fit, going to the gym everyday and having a lot of muscle. I can't believe I let it get this bad. But I know I need to just move forward and I'm going to try my hardest to stay with this. I did little fasts for less than a week and lost a pound a day plus another pound. I really would like to lose about 30-35 pounds. But is that really possible. Hmm...well I dunno. I guess I'll have to see.
A lot of people say they have a spiritual rejuvenance. That sounds great to me because for the year things have been really difficult and I've gotten pretty lost.
