Confidence in Kitties
The animals provide living lessons
Date: 9/27/2006 11:29:24 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2067 times I have 4 kitties- 2 16 pounders, 1 8 pounder and a tiny grey striped girl kitty.
I watch as they play together eat together- all but the little girl are from one litter.
They are very competitive...but all know Scout is the alpha.
The alpha male, if you will. He struts through the house fearlessly and eats any food that was too slowly partaken.
He must be tempted off the window sill when it is time to lock up the house with a treat- otherwise he will just look to me with apparent unconcern that I am shutting the window on him. Now that is trust.
The Self assured tend to trust more. The concidence of the self assured allows others to be themselves. It does not threaten or bother the self assured.
Perhaps this same behavior applies to the person kingdom?
