Labyrinth

I have come to believe everything and everyone moves you in the direction of your Soul. There are no wrong choices, Life isn't set up as a test.

Many of you have asked for more information about labyrinths. I have always loved the process of walking a labyrinth. It uses the forms of circles and spirals ¯ but unlike a maze, it is not a problem to be solved. A labyrinth is a right brain task. There is only one way in and one way out. The walking process embraces meditation, creativity and imagery. We find them in healing and spiritual centers all around the world. At its most basic level, the labyrinth is a metaphor for seeing more deeply into yourself and coming back out with a clearer understanding of who you are.

Labyrinths have been found on the grounds of grand European churches for many centuries. If you are not familiar with their use, please don’t assume they’re some kind of weird or anti-Christian spiritual distortion. They are beautiful to just enjoy visually, but frequently help a person touch a spiritual and creative side of themselves that may have been buried previously. I’ve known people who have written music, solved problems, turned the corner on depression, and met God in a new way while walking a labyrinth.

“Always choose the path that moves in the direction of your dreams. Though your journey may be filled with many winding roads, when you are inspired to follow your dreams, you eventually find success, and discover it is less about the destination and more about the manner in which you traveled.”

We are in the process of constructing a 60-foot wide labyrinth on our property. It’s a lengthy process but when we have it completed, I will list it on the World-Wide Labyrinth Locator and invite anyone interested to come by and share the experience.
Here is some general information:
Labyrinth Society . Or to find one near you ¯ they are generally free and open to anyone. Joanne and I have visited many in our travels in recent years:
