Day 1
4th fast since May 06 - I'm addicted!
Date: 10/18/2006 2:02:49 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 3592 times Granted, my 2nd and 3rd fasts didn't last long, but I am ready to do another 10+ days of juice fasting along with some days of master cleanse. I just completed my first day and feel really good about doing a long one this time.
I don't really know how I stumbled upon curezone.com, but it was after reading some people's blogs that I decided to try a 3 day juice fast back in May. It was the best thing I have done in years and now I can honestly say that I will do this for the rest of my life even if it is only a few days a year. If you are deciding to do a juice fast and have never done one, read the blogs and it will encourage you to try one. If you are like me and love food, then a water or even a master cleanse, is almost asking too much from us, but with juice, you get the flavors that will amaze your taste buds and leave you happy.
Wish me luck guys! You guys that have read this blog in the past and also my "Today I will not drink" blog, know that I also battle an alcohol addiction. Today I started my first day of outpatient rehab, so this juice fast is going to compliment that and I can only take each day at a time. I have failed many times on my alcohol journey and I am going to try to stay focused this time.
I went from 214 to 190 on my first juice fast that lasted approximately 24 days. I am at 200 lbs now (4 months later) and its all because I went back on a pig's diet like I was before. I am just doing it for the cleansing purpose, but the weight loss is an additional bonus that I really enjoy!
Good luck to anyone else that is also fasting right now. This site is the best place for support that I ever found and I thank all of you for your support! I will be reading some of your guys posts and responding, so please do the same for me, it helps tremendously!
