The "Regular" Doctor

why don't doctors ever help me??

So, today I had a run-in with the dreaded "regular" doctor who didn't have the results of my heart tests . . . not for another two weeks!? Long story. Checked the splotch on my leg, said it was inflamation . . . prescribed hydrocortisone and gave me xanax for anxiety. I requested it because I'm at my absolute wit's end, and until I find something that works for anxiety (natural), I'm doing this route. I tried Gaba before, but since it doesn't break the blood-brain barrier, it only made me have aural hallucinations and was weird.

My anger level today (because of the ditzy doctor) was so high. They talk to you like you're an idiot. They have this manner of speaking that makes it sound like you should be confident in what they're saying, but what they say is SH*T. What about looking at the systemic issues? How 'bout asking me what I eat?

Amazing this medical system. It's a wonder I'm still alive. People w/chronic illness have enough stress to deal with.
