Last night I had a dream that I broke my fast and ate something. It's hard to remember the whole dream, but it seems like I ate an entire gourmet meal just like on the Food Network. It was so vivid at the time. Luckily I woke up to my 6th day of the MC and realized it was just a dream. I did not do the SWF this morning because I could not make it through work the previous day. I know you have to do it each day, but you also have to keep your job. Speaking of which that same tin of cookies was still sitting out at work begging to be eaten. I had to pass it several times in the course of my day. Speaking of food, my Aunt Pat invited me to dinner Sunday. Of course I said no and had to explain my fast to her. It was not the first time she had heard about it. I was with her over July 4th weekend when I completed another 10 day MC. That was probably the hardest thing I had ever done to date. So instead of going to Earl Monroe's new restaurant, I suggested we go shopping for her.
Backtracking to my Fifth day . . .
I started with a proper SWF like a good follower of the MC. Now, I have to give credit to another poster who suggested that you hold your nose while drinking it. I tried this technique and found I could drink not just my SWF but also my Smooth Move tea without cringing. Mind you I still cannot stomach the taste of either. But I know it must be done. I went to work only to have my boss suggest we order in. Surprisingly everyone including me said "no thanks." Unfortunately, I was sluggish and weak the whole day. Something I attribute to the SWF. I may try a different salt. Or maybe even a different brand of tea.
