Time and Ego
illusions, delusions,
Date: 4/27/2006 11:31:19 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1311 times 'Time' on the higher levels of the Multiverse, does not exist the way we perceive it here. It is also 'different' for animals, insects and plants and rock. (ALL of these have a consciousness, by the way)
We are mistaken, as far as the Big picture goes, in our human concept of time. We CAN visit the higher levels, it is not as difficult as so many make it out to be! We are there NOW. It is simply a matter of becoming more aware of the True Nature of our Being. Prayer and meditation can be very helpful in this venture. Facing the possibility of the body's demise is also very effective, but not very peaceful. At least, until the processing has been done. Then, the Greatest peace will Blossom within you- Something I can attest to.
'All there is, is NOW' is a statement of Truth and a Worthy phrase for meditation!
It is EGO that perceives time as it does. Ego is so terrified of death that it will continually try to keep us focused in the intellect so we can justify our fears as valid. Such a huge joke on ourselves!!
As it has been stated; the ego is a fiction of mind, nothing more. A 'frame of reference' for our seemingly 'real' identity. A lens that we employ to perceive this level of the Multiverse, nothing more.
It is the grain of sand in the oyster, which, through the struggle to 'tame'- presents us with a beautiful pearl!
