Rejuvenation is the process of reversing and slowing down deterioration of our physical, mental, emotional us. Is it possible? Science is taking a very active part in researching various fields such as nutrition and supplements.
One resource that has been overlooked is the sea. We humans are chemically 85% equal to the ocean. Our body is from 60-80% water. Our planet is 97% water;but, man’s lack of knowledge of the sea is a 95%. Our best anti-aging element we have is the ocean.
The mineral content of the ocean and its ionic balance are about exactly as that of optimum healthy human blood, amniotic fluid, lymphatic fluid, and extra cellular fluid. A human embryo lives in this “oceanic” environment attaining
a growth to 3 billion times its weight. The benefits of the ocean have been known since antiquity. Herodotus wrote in 408BC: “Sun and sea treatments are imperative in most of the diseases". In the middle of the 1700’s the medical community in England became very interested in the effects of the ocean to health.
Dr. Charles Rusel wrote the first modern treatise on the therapeutic benefits of sea water.
Medical enthusiasm for sea water and health led to an organized approach and the creation of “Blade Baths". A medical protocol was written on the subject “The Guidebooks of the Bather”. As man progressed and health research became
more accurate, the terminology Thalassotherapy came into existence and the benefits of the ocean to man's physical, mental and emotional states has today been scientifically corroborated.
In France alone there are more than 250 places by the ocean where Thalassotherapy is practiced where the obligatory visit to a physician trained in the practice of Thalassotherapy is the first step.
Aging affects all of us, but the detrimental side of it is inadmissible. The negative side of aging can certainly be prevented. One of the most dreaded illnesses is Alzheimer,
but and sadly 50% of the US population 85 years and up are affected; but we must also remember that the other 50% are not. Many great advances have been accomplished in the role played by nutrition and supplements. There is another factor to be consider: The important role played by the ocean.
A visit to a Thalassotherapy center will testify to the rejuvenating effects of the ocean under the direction not only of a physician, but a professionally trained staff with extensive knowledge of how the ocean and its contents can impart to our
body, mind, soul and spirit:
Younger Body
Cellulite Reduction
Elimination and reduction of Lines and Wrinkles
Mind Rejuvenation
Renewed Mental Interest
Increased Physical Energy
Spiritual Enrichment
Improved Memory
A sense of a truly Full Life
