Stress - Double Whammie?
Continuing the research (amid much stress)-
Date: 6/16/2005 5:13:46 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1853 times I have been reading lots and lots of interesting information and have focused a little of my research on stress. I have been checking on some stress disorders and what kind of side effects unresolved stress can have on each body type, why stress affects some people and not others, and why some people seem to stress more than other people. I have been spending most of my free time reading (especially as this helps me relax after a crazy day at work). I find that I am doing everything wrong when it comes to combating my stress adrenaline. Instead of exercising to release the chemicals, I am calming myself and they sit and poison my body. All 5 of the books I have read have kept the same theme - eat whole organic foods, no red meat, exercise (mandatory), and meditate. Another theme that they all seem to share is cellular healing and have reference the same physician in every single book - so I am going to check out a couple of books by Deepak Chopra to see why he has been referenced so heavily in these books. I am finally going to take action in my diet and will continue to journal weekly (or more) on my progress. Next week (after work calms down) I will be working on more research and will probably have several more JE's.
