Safe Cosmetics Revisited
The goal of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is to protect the health of consumers and workers by requiring the cosmetics & personal care industry to phase out the use of chemicals that are known or suspected to cause cancer, genetic mutation or reproductive harm. To date, 300 companies have pledged to phase out toxins in their products. TAKE ACTION by purchasing safer cosmetics and personal care products from these companies!

News from the Breast Cancer Fund: 300th Company Signs Compact for Safe Cosmetics
In the past year, the number of companies who have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics has more than tripled, signaling a shift toward healthier personal care products. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, of which the Breast Cancer Fund is a founding member, announced the milestone in late March. By signing the Compact, companies pledge to phase out toxic ingredients within three years.
