Respect is something to be both learned and earned... Where do we get off, not showing some respect to others?? It is something taught in the southland... What do you think of your neighbor?? Where ever you live, you should have learned simple respect and descent manners... Down in Dixie we were all taught, {not that everyone listened} to respect the rights of others.... Man, woman, old, young, black, white,red or yellow.... Respect is the basic part of getting along with our fellow human beings... So let review the way it should be folks.... 1) Love: love your neighbor just as you should love yourself... {Golden Rule} 2) Honor: Is to pay proper respects to other people, even if they are in a different station of life... 3) Respect: This is learning to give people, their just due in this life... 4) Duty: This is what we should be bound to do, for both our selfs and others... 5) Appreciation of what we have in this life... { Being satisfied} 6) Proper attitude: This it the key to how and why we react with others .... If we can learn and apply these rules it Will make the world a better place for our having been here.... {This is not a complete set of rules for life, just a start} Stay tuned and we will expound on some other ideas as time goes on...
