Root canaled tooth crippled left jaw.
Removal of canaled tooth gave mouth relief.

I avoided it, because when I tried it would hurt incredibly. There was just that one lower molar tooth that prevented me from ever using my left jaw. I don't remember once using that side to successfully break down food. With that in mind, I don't know how the tooth above it, my upper left molar, slowly deteriorated to the point where it has now one big cavity. I don't know if the deterioration happened before the canaled tooth. Maybe it did, because I blamed that cavitied tooth for the uselessness of my left jaw. I used to blame that tooth, but now I blame the canaled tooth, and I have evidence to prove it.
For years I thought my canaled tooth is good for jewing, and thought that my cavitied tooth was the reason I couldn't use my left jaw. That isn't true at all. While searching on the internet I stumbled upon the fact that root canaled amalgam filled teeth are bad for you. Seeing that, I immediately had mine removed. Several months later, I was able to use my left side to jew food, and that is with an empty spot where my canaled tooth has been. The fact that I could use it to jew food, and remembering that I have for a very long time avoided doing that convinced me how bad such teeth are.
I am glad I had it pulled. It feels dirty inside my mouth. It is also unsightly, for it had a big piece of amalgam stuck in it. The tooth was also discolored to grayish hue. It looks dead, but firm and heavy. I am glad to be able to use my left jaw. Particularly right now, since my right side is inflamed and swollen from eating inappropriately, I guess. I am able jew with my left side instead. I don't remember being able to do that as I was growing up.
