Toronto Total Health Show
"Who is this guy?"
"Have you ever seen such a thing before?"
"This is amazing!"
"Why are all these people falling down?"
These were some of the comments I overheard on Saturday as guests and exhibitors at the 2005 Total Health Show in Toronto stood with rapt attention, watching Douglas in action. Some exhibitors closed down their booths to watch and to feel the energy. The stage was in full view of the trade show floor. The Total Health Show had never seen anything like this before. Mouths were open. People froze in their tracks. Cameras were going off. Some people were in tears.
The stage area was filled to capacity before Douglas even got a word out. Douglas spoke about how he got involved with spiritual healing and metaphysics. He soon had the attention of the entire Total Health Show turned to him. The energy was so powerful. One after another, people went down - some in mid-sentence. As the event progressed, people were laying everywhere in the middle aisle receiving God's healing. A man who was in a walker let go and walked unaided. At one point Douglas said "my friend Dave couldn't walk 10 feet when I met him 8 months ago and look at him now." Dave got up from his scooter at the back of the room and walked the entire length to Douglas, shook his hand and walked back to his scooter. There was a loud gasp and applause from the audience.
The surrounding area outside was lined with people watching, and waiting to get in. Douglas worked for nearly an hour and could have gone on longer because there were probably 50 or 60 people that he didn't have time to see. By the end of Douglas's lecture, he had over a hundred people praying with arms wide for healing for loved ones, and for the whole planet. In the midst of the busy trade show he had carved out an area of quiet, peace, and love. It was a very moving experience, and one I'm sure Torontonians won't soon forget.
Miracle Healing Event
Even with the change to Daylight Saving Time the night before and huge snowfall in the morning which made travelling difficult, the Miracle Healing Event on Sunday, April 3 was well attended. The energy in the room was wonderful as many people received laying of the hands healings from Douglas, listened to his wonderful teaching and participated in a lively Question and Answer discussion afterward.
