Stealing Your Email!
Internet Email problems...

Jesus!
I am getting all kinds of emails
that are send to scammers and spammers!
Glad someone is doing this, but I am not
the recepient who needs this.
Here is the story, that includes a word to the wise:
Early last week, a friendly person
wanted to help me with my PC.
They opened you my Outlook Express I the old P.C.
so I could use it.
I am a Mac Man, but use the P.C. to build my web sites.

There were a ton of viruses on the P.C.
that has a Windows 98.
The Friendly intended person saw the viruses and tried
to run a virus removal program. It di not work.
I have a Norton Security on that machine
and a Norton Anti-Virus. They are both out
of subscription. I paid for an update with teh
Norton Anti-Virus, but that program does not
work on the Window's 98. It is crazymaking
when I attempt to Update and get the lastest
Downloads. I have been on with the Chat Room,
and had the computer crash in the middle of the
conversation. I finally gave up.
So guess what?
A number of days before Earth Day, I stopped
getting my emails to one of my main addresses.
Then, after Earth Day, my whole internet was blocked
by Cox, my provider.
Why?
Someone had stolen my email through a Virus.
They were spamming and scamming all over the Internet
using my email!!!
It took days for Cox to help me get out of this mess.
They stole my password. They were about to have all
the replies forwarded to them, until someone complained.
They my internet was shut down.
So be careful with those viruses.
This is one think that can happen I
see now.
Cox, They do not Support the Old Mac Operating System I have.

Having an Outlook express problem.
My main email was compromised.
Got help recently opening up an Outlook Express
on my baby PC Windows 98.
Result:
Virus stole my email, and my Cox shut me down.
Next: deleted accounts on baby pc.
Then opened on Mac outlook express....
problem: file disappeared with all my emails
from Plantyourdream@cox.net
Cox does not support this...
On internet....cox is giving me a 404 error message.
May be at their end.
Called Microsoft....
someone in India may be answering.
said to check knowledge base....

going back to bed...
had some incredible inspirations I wanted to record
about Earth Day...but got into this Internet hassle.
Better go back to bed.
