The Slow Foods event was an Eye-Opener.
In the background was a Silent Awareness
in this midst of this Positive Celebration
and Heart Warming Gathering of more than 300
an Awareness that while we were speaking
about this Delicious Movement of Slow Foods
Born out of of an Italian saying "No, No, No!!"
to a Macdonalds near the Vatican (Check me on
the details of that story) t here are now more than
140,000 people taking a stand around the world
that Culture, Sustainable Agriculture, and World Cuisine
are experiencing a Renaissance.
That is what the Slow Foods International Movement
is all about. It is a Convergenge point of for so
many of the good things of life that you and I believe
in--and would want--
Such as Good Hearted Caring people sitting
around tables taking time to enjoy music while
sampling delightful offerings from Local Chef
from Top Restaurants who are honoring and
going out of their ways to create partnerships
with Locally Grown Farmers.
Bingo!
The event was filled with delightful Chi Filled
women and men enjoying each other and
Volunteering of their Talents and Food
to raising funds.
The funds--last year went to the San Pasqual Academy
not far from where The Orfila Vineyard--
the site of yesterdays gala.
At San Pasqual Academy--Scott Murray--
an old ally--is not teaching orphaned children
gardening in this residential program.
The site was once a farm--an organic farm.
Scott is rebuilding it. He is also the father of three
home schooled kids, as well as on the board of directors
of Earthworks--the San Diego group that yearly puts on
Earth Day here each Spring.
Too much information--
Too much information--
My goal today is to spend time on the photos.
Some called me the Official Photographer at the event
and gratefully there were a number of others with
bigger Tools than I. As usual, as a Volunteer,
and even with Kathy Lunna as an assistant--
I was focused on where my Spirit and some allies
directed my lens. I know there are some photos
I missed that they may have wanted.
I have been so starved and alone for months
that I found myself looking into the eyes of numbers
of couples in love and other singles--
mainly the female of the species-- oozing with Life Force.
As usual--I was getting this tremendous feedback
of the results--
Creativity and Art pour through me in this environments.
Being the Scorpio--the erotic always draws me--
what is more erotic than organic, fresh picked foods
grown by Local Food Growers with their
feet in the soil, allied Chefs fingering their Produce
intended to delight the Appetites.
Place this is the atmosphere of Orfila Vineyard
with luscious grapes all ripe for picking.
Need I say more--Your Enchanted Gardener was out.
Hopefully, with some Blessings form the Computer Gods
It will be not too far in the future that I can once again
effortlessly share these kind of photos with you.
Back to my Theme--Foundational Trust--
Got a call from Best Friend Twin Soul
at 2 AM. She is in some tremendous LIfe Shifts
right now and she feels like she was losing her moorings.
Ditto on this end.
What can I Trust?
The other day The EG Mobile gracefully starting
to break down within a few blocks of Crywolf,
the Computer Store that called me to say my
New Hard Drive was ready for pickup.
The EG Mobile had enough going to drive into the
parking lot; I called Western Towing while I was
getting some tremendous support from Bill,
one of the key players at Crywolf.
Things could have been so, so worse--
What can a person ask for more than
Grace during breakdown????
I hardly even imagined how much Grace I was having
at the time.
Crywolf was closing within less than 30 minutes
of my breakdown.
I was depending on the EG Mobile to get be
to Orfila the next day.
I had my cell phone--
My second choice--was dependable Kathy Lunna--
who Chauffered me up their as well as was my
photo assistant.
More...to come...
