Had a phone counseling session
with JLR
last night.
Gratitude was the word she wanted
to leave me with as a way to overcome
feelings of depression that can come
upon me in the morning.
She said I should treasure the moments
when I can get out...of the house.
She is near housebound, making a third
triumphant march up cancer.
The treatments are very painful.
She has pleasure moments during the day.
She likes to do Tai Chi in the morning,
and treasures her treadmill time,
or walks with her husband.
She has a circle of powerful prayer partners.
She brings their faces to mind each morning.
She gives and receives great energy from this.
She says appreciate smaller things.
I would like to write more.
I am dressed and ready to go out
to attend my first Debtors Anonyomous meeting.
Parking will be difficult. There is a Gay Pride Parade
on that street this morning.
I better get going.
What would make me happen this day?
One bit of progress on Arosa Income statement.
tearing through a shelf of notebooks....
Some upbeat music.
Maybe a conversation with a friend.
What would I really like to do?
Take a trip to visit Best Friend.
That is not possible, it seems.
more later...
Not too much on the plan for this weekend.
Hope you stay well.
Love,
Leslie
