Changing Jensen's Sheet
Had a dream about changing
the bedsheet for Dr. Bernard
Jensen, my spiritual father.

Had an unusual dream.
I was in the neighborhood of
Dr. Jensen's Ranch. He must
have been in his elder years.
He was still teaching, and somewhat
incompassitated.
There was a book or two that he had
been inspired by. I did not hear him teach.
His teaching was more like talks lots of time,
very spontaneous and inspired in part.
He always began his chats with
the sentence, "I feel Wonderful!"
and sometimes, "How do you feel?"
but then, never really gave the other person
the chance to say how they felt.
One of his standing jokes
to get a laugh was
he would say, "Any questions?"
and then, immediately, "No questions."
as if no one had any.
I would always interrupt and say,
"I have a question." Then, he would
say, "You always have a question!"
We had quite a creative relationship
Many times, he would come in dragging
after seeing patients all day. He was generally
a bit late to start his Saturday night, and Tuesday
night talks at the Ranch. He would also speak
Sunday's at 11 AM before lunch and after seeing
a few patients.
How nastalgia to remember those days that
happened around 1972- 1973, before I crippled up
and was not able to walk.
The dream had something to do with growing up
and accepting adult responsibilities.
He took care of me in many ways.
When I saw him on the road, sometimes
we would both be at an Expo together.
Even if there were hundreds of people in the audience,
he would see that I was there, and this would
inspire him to tell a story about how I had been
crippled, and because of my Soul Growth I had
improved myself.
Many times, I would introduce him, if I were
comfortable with the organizers of the Expo
or Conference.
That was how my relationship with the Pacific Symposium
actually began, one of the nation's largest TCM Conferences.
(Traditional Chinese Medicine). Dr. Jensen came to teach.
I introduced him. He was a keynote speaker.
Jensen left. I stayed. Now a days, the Pacific Symposium
is one of the conferences each year where I significantly
help create the ambiance with plants.
I also do a brief opening and closing ceremony.
Lots going on about growing up right now.
