Jesse Schwartz, the creator of Living Tree
Community Foods, is an old friend.
I enjoy seeing him every year at the
Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim.
He is a man of great spiritual integrity
and a Big Heart and Soul natural food product maker.
This is my favorite brand of Sesame Seed Tahini,
and I love the other treats.
His products are a bit on the high side, price wise,
but Your Enchanted Gardener sez:
"The cost of the doctor bill is included."
I like as well what he is saying about organizing a Buying Club
and getting Wholesale prices.
This takes work. This asks Collaboration
and communication and set up time and it also

Moon Circle happening on the third Friday night every
month. It is at Amalya's Fabulous Goddess Studio in
Escondido, which is such a beautiful space. If you

Each month, there is a new guest teacher. I, Sheniah
McDaniel, am this month's guest teacher. It is this

"Ecstatic Spirit Dance". Many of you have experienced
my Yoga/Dance of The 5 Elements and you know how fun
and fabulous it is. I have created this new class
adding more Spirit Dance addding even more healing
tools of Movement, Breath, Sound, Meditation, and
Sacred Annointments.
This class is a synthesis of my 15 years of Healing
Knowledge and Study. It can help take you to a whole

"Into Me See" is a film about the transformative power of intimate

Written and directed by James Twyman, the film follows a couple that
have not seen each other for six years as they explore their past

Many of us are just getting by making minimum payments on our credit cards. This is currently 2% of our outstanding balance. Come October that's all going to change. You are going to have to pay at least 4% of your outstanding balance. That's right, your credit card payment is about to double. It won't just be college kids and retirees on fixed incomes who will be flummoxed. Many small businesses who use personal credit cards to manage cash flow and people who have intermittent or seasonal cash streams are going to be adversely affected. Estimates are that 39% of US cardholders pay the minimum. Consumers are already stretched thin, this will surely make day to day getting by, all the more burdensome.
This is BIG, BIG NEWS! Why hasn't it appeared in newspapers and the media? Could it be that they don't want to upset the applecart before the New Bankruptcy Law becomes effective in October. A harsh and draconian law making it all the more difficult to get out of a mountain of debt. There are no coincidences, nothing really happens by "chance". Can't help but marvel by how well the interests of large commercial creditors have been attended to. .
But that's not all. The price of gas is having a real impact on people's purchasing power and many are having to consider carefully just what they can afford to spend for food for their families.

Last week Mike Mease and Josh Osher of The Buffalo Field Campaign arrived in Berkeley. They are on a west coast tour to call to peoples' attention the latest atrocity that the state of Montana is about to inflict on the buffalo. It was our privilege to present them with Living Tree Olive Oil, olives and nut butters.

America's last wild buffalo are soon to be become victims of "sport" hunters. That's right, the state is going to issue licenses to crazies permitting them to shoot buffalo migrating from Yellowstone National Park onto their traditional habitat in Montana.
Buffalo are accustomed to millions of tourists and are not afraid of people. They will not give "fair chase" like deer and elk. Gun-bearers will be able to walk right up to a buffalo and blast it with a high powered rifle right at the Park border. Shooting a buffalo is about as sporting as shooting a parked car. The only time buffalo flee from humans is when the Montana Department of Livestock chases them with snowmobiles, helicopters, and horses.
The Buffalo People have been campaigning for years to bring to national and world attention the plight of the buffalo. In winter they go out before dawn, often at temperatures 50 below zero, to bear witness to the destruction of our heritage.

Raw Almond Butter and Almonds
We have been buying almonds from family farmers in California for 25 years and I am thankful to say that they have come through for us. We have once again raw organic almond butter in 8 ounce and 16 ounce sizes. Also we have almonds. This despite the fact that the price of almonds from growers and wholesalers has more than doubled since January. This is because of inclement weather during the critical bloom period; the bees weren't able to pollinate adequately. Also demand is robust especially from Europe and Japan. Therefore almonds are scarce and expensive. We say this sadly and regretfully, as the almond is the most nutritious of nuts; no nut is more life giving than the California almond. People everywhere have discovered it!
