Blind Date
About to head out for a date
with Mother Earth.
The last gleems of sunlight
await me in the garden.
...and meanderings of thoughts
as return. and get ready to go
for an early bedtime for a change.

For most of us
our relationship with Mother Earth
is like going out on a Blind Date.
We do not know this woman,
but it is in our destiny to get to know her.
She wants to spend time with us.
I am heading out to have a date with her now,
as the last gleams of sunlight call me to the garden.
Back soon...
more soon...
8:36 PM
Dark now.
Some mosquite bites on my back..
nothing too bad.
Nice to come into a room that feels more tended to,
more loved.
Been a good day of self love today
starting with vacuuming and getting down on my hands and knees
to mop up some dust and stale energy under foot around my desk..
Second night in the garden.
Last night felt a calling after sitting here since 5 AM
or so working with various projects on the Feng Shui
Conference. Then about 30 minutes before sunset,
i heard a strong calling from the garden.
I went out to see the sunset, something we would
never miss when i lived with Harpo at his Health House by the Sea
in the late 70's.
Oh, that felt sweet--just when back there
and felt what it felt like to live at Harpos right on the beach
but that is another story.
So here is the report:
I am 15 days from the Feng Shui Conference.
More computer glitches today,
and tons of work to do on four projects,
but feeling the best way to prepare is taking time
each day to enjoy how incredible it will be
no matter what.
Wrote one of my main sponsors this morning.
That was good.
The writing is coming to a head.
I am ready to recieve. Feedback is good on the
photos so far going into the Photo Exhibit.
I bought a CD-DVD burner today so i can get
beyond this stalemate with external hard drive
continuing to to disfunction with important things
stored there. I am going to start using CD's for backup
with this fast burner. I will use it to earn money at the conference
as well, selling digital retrospectives + my Organic
Celebration slide show.
The garden:
Worked more on the Apple Tree...
you know The APPLE TREE.
Gave it more Light,
cutting away ragweed.
Good to be down on my knees away from this computer,
Three apples on the tree--little ones so far.
Will mulch with the weeds and create worm life
underneath with the new moisure protection.
Good to tend that Apple Tree...it has been neglected
for 2000 years or so. IT is good to reclaim that history
and participate in the continuation of the story of how
we got kicked out of the orginal garden. IT feels good
to be coming back, and writing around the Return
to inspire others to do the same.
I am really enjoying the garden time.
I am going to do it everyday.
I have this wonderful racket tool that feels so good to cut through
the weeds. IT makes a nice cutting sound.
one weed removal at a time. Here comes paradise.
Tired.
Going to put away the food simmering in the crock pot,
and go to bed.
A good day. Steve, my accupuncturist supervisor
over the young people in the clinic at PCOM
came up to me two or three times after my treatment.
He is very happy to be seeing me coming back to lilfe.
He said I was really "firing"--meaning connecting.
iT helps when my energy is circulating.
