What most people should realize about Israel!
Those Jews and evangelical Christians who say an undivided Jerusalem should be the eternal capital of Israel have a ready answer for anyone who questions that claim: The Bible says so.
The most often-cited text is 2 Chronicles 6:5-6, wherein King Solomon quotes God as saying, "Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city in all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel; but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel."
The Bible could hardly be more clear, it would seem.

Israel has a long and sorted history - yet has existed for several thousands of years, longer than any other nation of people in world history!
Even further than before the coming of Islam in the 800s!

Of course, we have centuries of fighting and turmoil over Jerusalem! If more people realized how much it has played in world history - they would be amazed and alarmed !
This area of earth has been the site of thousands of prophecies and many valid historical events!
Therefore when you consider the ramifications of all the Holy works and both past and present; you would be amazed and shocked!
What you should start looking at the vast history and extensive list of God's actions in Israel since time began! This is far more precise with a proven history length far more than any other nation, tribe or people
There are literally millions of pages and pieces of information available which support and or prove this point! It is beyond reproach!
