Learn to walk with the wise
Here the phrase “walks with” is a metaphor for “living one’s life with,” encompassing thoughts, actions, and feelings. The person who lives in the company of the wise cannot help but to grow in wisdom because he will learn from the experiences and knowledge of his companions.

Paul goes on to say that he had learned how to be satisfied to the point where he was not disturbed whether he had abundance or was in need (see Philippians 4:12).
This is the picture of godly contentment!
Being content does not mean that we never want to see any change or that we have no vision for better things, but it does mean that we are not allowing the things we want and don’t have yet to steal the enjoyment of what we have at the present time.
The more time we spend with God, focusing on His goodness and thanking Him for His promises, the more content we will be with all that He has done—and is going to do—in our lives.
Today’s Thought:
One of the most important things you can learn to do is to enjoy where you are on the way to where you are going.
*** Which way are you going?
If you do not really know then how will you ever know when you have reached it?
** Each great journey starts with one small step!
Therefore look at your life, and simply who are your friends, what do you spend much of your time doing, then make an effort to seek the best things for your eternal existence.
Remember this earthly existence is very limited compared with the whole of Eternity which follows!
