This blog-writer has been choosing either some form of purification of municipal (tap) water (since about 1975) or spring water to avoid the fluoride, chlorine, and a dozen other contaminants found in municipal water supplies. Based on direct experience he also realizes that supposedly good well water needs to be throughly tested.
