Is anyone really thinking this out?

First Part from an FB post today - with the latter replies came from others.
The migrant caravan is now demanding that Trump either allow them in or pay them EACH a whopping $50,000 to turn back. Can it be any crazier?
Dems are STILL refusing to support the border wall, even after all of this chaos. But the wall is an issue Trump campaigned on, and it’s a promise he plans to keep by whatever means necessary. After all, shutting down the government is a small price to pay compared to the hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars it would take to appease these entitled migrants. {payoff}

Politics is part of life. It is the way which people tend to speak out - but many do not hold any morals. How did this happen? Well over the past 50 + years one Political Party has pushed the so-called rights of some out of sync-groups in the society. {While I do not feel we need to obscure people's free will} - there has to be some demarcation as to what people can do in the society without strict rules and regulation!
Let's get back to the purpose and plan of the USA - which was to build a moral nation and then helping others. Which is what has been happening over the past 200 years -
Though not always in a perfect way. Sorry, but many do not read history or have any understanding of what went on or why! They just have a take or else attitude!
Let's put it in terms everyone should be able to understand: Let's say that some jobless people came up and wanted to enter and said either pay us - or we will tear up your house.
Would that be fair, or would you just hand over the money and hope they go away?
Under this scenario, you would soon be out of most all you had!
{In other terms this is considered extortion and is a crime in most places.}
But some power-seeking politicians seem bent on the USA giving in to such a group of people!
** I am confused - since the things that these migrants want require planning, work and know- how; upon what premise can they even think that the world owes them something!
Most all things in life require effort to get! Which is what most people have done.
