I met a number of actors following the two performances we attended, and the venue of The Old Globe and Balboa Park has completely motivated me to want to be an influence in this cultural community. Keeping the Culture in Agriculture is one of my themes. Is a marriage between the world of theatre and the world where I am already an influencer possible?
How deep do the feelings go? I want my A History Of Peace on Earth-#lesliegoldmanlegacywritings to outlast me on this lifetime. I believe the quality of my writing belongs to the ages, and the message of being part of the #EnchantedGardenClub is a movement of planetary significance.
The celebration of our photos in the November issue of Better Homes and Gardens came out October 18. It is a story about The National Heirloom Exposition I love so much. That was not enough to overcome a feeling that I had gifts to bring to this new community that captured my heart with its vibrancy and beauty. Right now it is an unrequited love affair.
When I saw the curtain call from the balcony of the Old Globe I was stunned by the visual of the standing ovation and full house clapping in rhythm to the final song by Huey Lewis & The News. This show is destined for Broadway, as many other shows that had world premiers at the Old Globe. I see and seed that!
I know no one—yet—on the production team for this show.
Who could I tell about the powerful image I saw, and could I possibly dare to imagine that someone on the production team might hear my suggestion?
Could I dare to imagine that I could have permission to contribute a brief clip myself that could be taken after the final performance October 21? What will the excitement of the final curtain call be like? I feel that excitement and want to see it!
Is that possible?
I attempted to share my inspiration with the marketing person for the Old Globe, but had no success.
It triggered in me memories and experiences of places and times where my gestures of gift giving were rejected.
Give up Goldman! Haven’t you got enough deadlines to deal with?
The clock is ticking on other commitments You have made.
Let go, Goldman! What is wrong with you? Haven’t you experienced enough recent impossible dreams come true?
I feel I struck out-so far.
Are there no dreams to Plant in this venue now that would be appreciated? Is it worth the effort to perseverate over this?
Oh my God, The Feng Shui of the Theatre reminds me on my ancient days in theatre.
And then, then, I came upon a sculpture of Shakespeare that had been rescued from a fire at the old globe. It was originally a gift to the old globe from one of my sponsors.
Give up, Goldman. Please don’t want this relationship. Be pleased with the areas of your life where you are already an influencer.
I feel stuck.
