WHY MUST LEFTISTS RUIN EVERYTHING?
The Black Panther movie is NOT a call to Black Nationalism or "racial empowerment."
It's a fictitious story about a fictitious character fighting a fictitious war in a fictitious universe.
Please stop projecting your identity politics onto everything. I have fond memories of my brother, my friends, and I collecting and trading comic books. My mother was just happy that we were reading and that it was a relatively inexpensive hobby.
Those who've actually read the comics and know the canons of the different universes would most likely agree that the common theme is the struggle of "Good vs. Evil."
Almost every character in the comics have overcome or must overcome a traumatic event that inspires them to risk their lives for a society who's unwilling or incapable of defending themselves from evildoers. That's it.
If T'Challa were a real person, he would be hated by the left for his use of excessive force against unarmed black people and charged by the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ for numerous Constitutional and civil rights violations.
After we come down from our high from watching an exciting film, we must snap back to reality and look for real-life heroes to celebrate which leads me to my next point.
For those saying that this is the 1st time a "black superhero" has been portrayed in a motion picture, you're ignorant or you're lying.
We have plenty of black superheroes real and fictitious.
Let's go with the real ones:
Col. Allen West, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams, Dr. Ben Carson, Booker T. Washington, Charles Drew, Benjamin Banneker, George Washington Carver, Frederick Douglass, Herman Cain, and many others...
I could go on, but I think you get the point.
I learned about all of these people before I left high school because my mother and father took an active interest in my education.
If all your kids know is Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Will Smith, and "Dr" Umar Johnson that's your fault. Not the public education system and definitely not Hollywood or Marvel Studios.
