Date: 1/5/2018 8:30:22 PM ( 7 y ) ... viewed 456 times Chinese company TCL is planning to showcase multiple Alcatel smartphones soon with displays in 18:9 format. One of them is Alcatel 5 which was recently certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Now a new render has been leaked of Alcatel 5 which is said ti be the final design, thanks to popular leakster Evan Blass.

Apart from Alcatel 5, TCL will be launching other Alcatel branded phones such as Alcatel 1x, Alcatel 3, Alcatel 3V, Alcatel 3X, Alcatel 3C. The Alcatel 5 is expected to be launched this month at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas along with other wholesale Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus LCD screen .
As per the leaked render, Alcatel 5 will feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it has a very thin bottom bezel. There is no space for fingerprint sensor on the front and it will be placed at the back just under the single rear-facing camera and LED flash module. The render shows that the smartphone features dual front-facing cameras on the top bezel. The phone has a unibody design and the design of the phone is shown in a Gold colour in the render. The tipster has however not leaked any specifications of the Alcatel 5.
The recent FCC listing carries a bunch of photos showing the smartphone from all possible angles as well as the user manual for the device.
On image shows the Alcatel 5 has a brushed metal back and a dual selfie camera setup with a front flashlight. There is a picture of the bottom of the phone which shows a USB-C port flanked on both sides by speaker grilles. Another picture reveals that the Alcatel 5 will come with a 3000mAh battery which will power its 5.7 inches with 18:9 display. The smartphone will be powered by MT6750 processor.
Another picture shows the front of the Alcatel A5. The phone is shown in two colour variants – black and white. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus display will have a hybrid dual SIM slot. The rear panel of the smartphone shows the presence of the single rear camera followed by a LED flash and a fingerprint scanner.
