If we just hear God’s Word but never put it into practice, what have we done?

{We have failed to accept or follow God's Word!}

4. Read Matthew 7:24-27.
In order to be a wise person, we must not only hear the sayings of Jesus, but we
must do what?

[Learn to accept and put into practice the words He presented!}

5. Read Ephesians 4:11-12.
Who is to do the work of the ministry?

{The people who believed!}

6. Read Acts 8:1 and 4.
Who went everywhere preaching the Word?

{Saul Persecutes the Church

8 Now Saul was consenting to his death(Stephen)

1: At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

2: And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

3: As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison.

Christ Is Preached in Samaria

4: Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.

it was followed up by apostolic leadership and instruction. In our churches today, it’s the leadership that starts things and the believers then follow.

9. Read 1 Corinthians 12:14-18.
Each part of the body of Christ is necessary. We should not compare ourselves
among ourselves. Rather, total commitment to Christ is not doing everything but doing what God has equipped you to do. What will you do with the information you’ve received in this lesson?

18) But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has
