Feeding The Mighty Mitochondria. Today, is February 22, 2017. I began taking a new supplement that I found at the #ScrippsNatSup Conference. The product is called Protandim. It works with the mitochondria, the powerhouse feeding the cell energy. This is my eighth day "On the Pill." I am combining Protandim with my Go To natural anti-inflammatory, AminoActiv. I am feeling a definite lift. I went to the Scripps Natural Supplement Conference looking for supplements to overcome tiredness and fatigue and boost my energy. I am having a good feeling about this supplement that I won in a business card raffle.

I won some Protandim Duo, a mitochondria booster, and another product for oxidative Stress, in a raffle at the #Scrippsnatsup Feb 2017. These products are said to boost energy and turn around aging.
I am looking at my next ten years plan and appreciate discovering Protandim. I feel good about it. I will keep you posted. Working on knee injuries especiallly.

Also, just FYI - Protandim NRF1 is the mitochondria product which activates the NRF1 pathway in the body (related to healthy mitochondria).
NRF2 IS FIR OXIDATIVE STRESS AND SNYI-AGING
Protandim NRF2 activates the NRF2 pathway (oxidative stress/inflammation/ ’anti aging’).
Two completely different pathways resulting in different things entirely - both are very important and key.
PRotandim NRF2 at this point has the most science b/c it has been around the longest. That is the product w/ the numerous patents and published studies including the NIA study. Protandim NRF1 is patent pending and also has studies - but the NRF1 pathway was discovered more recently and there is not as much on it yet in terms of studies. Just compare the two in pubmed.gov and you’ll see what I mean.
NIA Study: Aging Cell:
The National Institute of Aging studied numerous compounds (drugs and supplements) thought to extend life. Only 6 compounds have been found to extend life and Protandim NRF2 is the only nutritional supplement to have been found to extend life. Interestingly, some of the ingredients in Protandim NRF2 (green tea and curcumin) in addition to fish oil and resveratrol were also studied along with Prootandim NRF2. None of those individual ingredients/products were found to extend lifesapan except Protandim NRF2. This highlights that it is not the ingredients in Protandim NRF2 per se that make it so effective - it is the synergy of those ingredients (hence the numerous patents on Protandim NRF2 (and the numerous peer-reviewed and published studies). The NIA studied not only lifespan but quality if life - i.e. healthspan (to increase the span of a healthy life). This is the real deal - studied, proven, and natural!
