I believe I have written a series of poems called
#WordsThatMenNeedToKnowAndWomenWantToHear that are contributing to Ending the Drought in Our Lives. A key to this Ending in Increasing Understanding between Men and Women.
These poems are called #TheSevenLoveCures.

SETTING THE TONE

I can imagine the dance and reading evolving into a workshop that contributes in 2017 to #WomanRising.

One highlight of Sunday, February 19, 2016, at the Tribute to the Raggae Legends at the World Beat Center in Balboa Park was asking Traci to read and join the Enchanted Garden Club. Her every movement is a dance.

Oh patient Mother Earth,
let us walk together more closely.
My own fertile, flowering seed dreams

contained in a tiny seed
that I might experience
how my dreams grow naturally.
The Enchanted Garden,
a name for the new Earth
growing through me,

TRACI McKNIGHT
Movement has become my Prayer.
Movement has shown me God.
When I was ten years old, a woman told me she saw God in me when I danced. How profound for a soul searching kid to hear... She knew before I did that movement would become my most fluent language- the language by which I now communicate with myself and others, but also with God. She must have felt that I felt perfectly Present on that stage, before I knew there was a real difference between being Here or There... 14 years have passed. Movement has become my Meditation. Movement has become my Prayer. Movement has shown me God. Presence. Stillness. Peace. Movement has made me honor this gift of life more than the sunshine, more than the sea, more than a church or a book or a psalm ever has. I reflect on the experience of receiving her comment often, and feel I owe so much of my heart to her. I don't remember her name, or her hair color, or her voice. But I remember her words, so full of God themselves. Thank you.
