day 2:
Day 2 of my log
Date: 2/10/2015 6:33:20 AM ( 9 y ) ... viewed 8349 times MORNING: coffee/chicory and water over news, followed by a 1/2 cup yogurt.
WORKOUT: great! Doing 27 minutes of interval 2minutes cardio, 1 minute weight bearing. Ending with a jog, but having to work up to it. Started at 2 minutes after the training, up to 10 minutes easy jog. End with a few tai chi chill moves and yoga stretching for 10 minutes. Ended with Yoga headstand (sal-amba)which is the easiest one. Starting trying a few days ago. Today I balance pretty nicely for a good 30-seconds or so! I found if I am moving backwards, I just think "forward' and my body does it gently on its own. When I try to do it manually or outright, it is always too much. "thinking" is the key I guess!
BREAKFAST: One gulp of water kefir. A slow introduction, and a cauliflower tortillas with an egg and soy sausage. I passed on smoothie today because I was out of kale..FYI I use a whole head of cauliflower with 3 eggs to make 9 tortillas, which is plenty of "bread" for me for the week. I eat corn bread too, as it seems to like me as well.
Snack: overwhelmingly hungry today I ate 2 Kavli crackers and a slice of low skim swiss. Then I still feeling starved and I went for homemade power goo. Peanut Butter/powdered milk/honey. Yum. Mom used to make it for candy with the gov't commodities we got back when I was wee one... Come to find out its one of the best combos to feed people who have been starving. The ingredients are easy to digest, both have phosphates (which is dangerously low when you become starving) and have low/no carbohydrates, which can kill a starved person if given too suddenly (in part because their phosphates are low). I just made a tablespoon of powdered milk and peanut butter and a small blob of honey. The commercial version the goo for refeeding programs through the government is called Plumpy'nut and looks like they add vitamins and minerals to it. It would be easy to add a teaspoon of liquid vitamins to it too.
Dinner: Snack dinner. I snacked so much I wasn't hungry for a regular dinner. Ate some nuts, seeds, dried mango and mozz cheese.
Stomach feels good. Bladder almost back to normal..
