You don’t have to be vegan to choose cruelty-free clothing.
Do you make excuses and actually buy clothing and shoes that contain animal products such as leather, feathers or down? Do you think this can still be justified in the conditions when we have so many alternatives on the market?

Let me just remind you of the group of Russian scientists that went to the North Pole in the early 20th century. They all had clothes made of natural fabrics and materials such as: wool pullovers, fur coats, cotton underneath pants and shirts. None of them actually survived, because they didn’t have the adequate clothing. The issue with natural fabrics in winter is that they make you sweat easily, but then all this sweat is absorbed and stays in the fabric for a very long time. In this way the person, after getting hot, gets immediately cold from the humidity of the clothes.
PETA:
Every year, millions of animals are killed for the clothing industry—all in the name of fashion. Whether the clothes come from Chinese fur farms, Indian slaughterhouses, or the Australian outback, an immeasurable amount of suffering goes into every fur-trimmed jacket, leather belt, and wool sweater.
Fur, donatural clotheswn and feather coats usually weight a lot more than the artificial fabrics. This important factor will give you extra weight to your body mass and will affect you mobility and you don’t need that when you have to walk through the snow, let’s say. Synthetic parkas are very light and a lot more comfortable to wear. You don’t need a heavy coat to keep you warm. Also keep in mind that these clothes are usually a lot thinner than the natural ones. There is no need to make it very and large, because the same features are offered by this extraordinary fabrics like polar fleece and polyester. So coats made of natural fabrics are a lot heavier and uncomfortable. If you are really intersted in my article i will post more!
