This is for my personal use only and to keep track of important things I’m noticing.
10/15/14 - I wanted to do a quick mini cleanse... my diet has been not so good in the last couple weeks... and I've been feeling awfully guilty about indulging in excess zucchini and pumpkin bread... along with bagels for breakfast instead of oatmeal... plus the hot lattes at the football games... so I took a spoonful of DE, then did a short, 24 hour orange juice, apple cider and herbal tea type of thing. I drank about a half gallon of apple cider and maybe a quart of OJ and 4 cups of tea... I also did eat 2 pears that I regretted eating about 20 minutes later lol
It wasn't exactly a fast or a cleanse, but more to push out my digestive system. I wasn't feeling any different and didn't have any digestive problems, but I had gotten some apple cider to drink and figured, why not a quick cleanse?
My last clean out was 9/29 and it was very "clean" if that makes sense... and my last clean out before that was like, a month... So, I was very surprised by what had accumulated just in the last 2 weeks. I had maybe an 8" string of what would have turned into mucoid plaque, had I let it go. Where the hell did THAT come from? It wasn't there during my colonoscopy on 9/29! Dr. N said everything looked to be in tip top shape, so this had to be something that just recently developed...
I am totally convinced now more than ever that the bread types of stuff is what junks up the intestines... good thing I had gotten that out. I probably would have kept going with the toxic dump, but I had only gotten a half gallon of apple cider and ran out. So, I will definitely continue over the weekend... maybe even schedule a colonic, although the last 3 were uneventful.
I had planned on making this a once a month event... but I'm so glad I didn't wait the extra 2 weeks this time.
