Surpassing Greatness of The Philosophy of The Cross Part 2
** There are two major points which define the philosophy of the cross. **

The Philosophy of The Cross:
- The eternal movement of the moral and spiritual progress of mankind has been able to advance through the Effect of the Cross!
- It is complete and perfect because it meets every test of human experience or need of which the soul is aware!
- The first major point of The Cross of Christ is moral.
{It presents love as the noblest motivating principle for all human conduct.}
- The Greatest Commandment
Matthew 28:37 And He said to him, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
38"This is the greatest and foremost commandment.
* Love for God is the first and greatest commandment which when for-filled will produce those fruits of true righteousness. Love of God will help to destroy such sins as: idolatry, profanity, blasphemy, covetousness, lust, worldliness, etc. in your life !
- The second greatest commandment is Matt 28:39 "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
* This if practiced will destroy such sins as: enmity, jealousy, thief, murder, fornication, adultery, division, self - centeredness, and war! In fact it includes all sins classified as works of the flesh.. Galatians 5:19-21

Both of these forms of true love are exemplified in the of Christ upon the Cross! The death of Jesus was at once and at the same time a demonstration of God's Perfect Love for all mankind!
